The Raiding Party
One of my latest concept art using 3D models and 2D images put into one. It took some time for me to create another concept art because i was too busy with life outside of work. Took me weeks just searching for a good image to go with my concept art. Modelling the mechs didn't take me so much time because it's a kitbash from my previous models.

While i was browsing the internet i found this free stock photo. A scene from the Avatarmovie came into my mind. The scene where mechs where raiding the natives in the jungle and trying to exterminate all of them for the sake of precious resources. So i went and took my mech model and tweaked it a bit. Took our the arms of the mech and replaced it with guns. I also replaced the head and made it smaller to make it look like a vehicle instead of a standalone mech. I also pulled out my mini robot or i call it scanner bot for an added detail for the whole concept.
I multiplied the mechs and changed some of their pose to create variations. After all the posing i started rendering the passes using Keyshot 6. I rendered the color, reflection, metal and depth passes then overlayed them on top of each other in Photoshop. For an added accuracy i used the stock photo as a background image in keyshot while i re-positioned the mechs for proper camera angle, perspective and lighting.
